Chocolate Chip Cookies

These classic chocolate chip cookies are easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. They are perfect for any occasion, whether you are looking for a snack or a dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract  
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.  

  3. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.

  4. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
