I did biscuits with the kids this weekend, this is the recipe I used:
150g of butter (Well, 100 and some of coconut oil) - some recipes say to put more to get softer biscuits.
2 cups (lose) of flour
1tsp vanilla essence
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar (you can put more or less, I thought was enough)
a pinch of flaxseed
1 tsp baking powder
Beat Butter sugar and vanilla until soft.
Add egg and beat more
Sift in flour and baking powder (and flaxseed)
mix well.
make a ball. roll it, cut it. add whatever you want to it.
